Wheat flour - 2 cups
Oats - 2 cups
Milk - 1 cup
Yeast - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1/2 tbsp
Sugar-1tbsp
Warm the milk , add the yeast and keep aside for 5 minutes till the yeast foams. Mix all other dry ingredients except sugar in a large mixing bowl. Once the yeast foams , mix the milk , add sugar into it and pour in into the bowl .Mix the dough well till its nice and elastic for about 6 to 8 minutes. Wrap a muslin cloth and keep aside for around 45 minutes for it to rise. Take the risen dough , make it into desired shapes of rolls - round or long, keep asied wrapped in damp muslin cloth for another 20 minutes or more if you like.It will rise to double the volume.Preheat the overn at F 175 degrees for 5 minutes.
Grease the baking tray with little butter and dust flour on it. Put in the risen rolls and bake at F 175 degrees for 20 minutes.Keep for 5 more minutes for it to become golden brown.Cool for 5 minutes
Makes great dinner rolls or anytime snacks!
